At Bryan & Bryan Inspections, we want to do our best to make sure you’re moving into a home that’s safe. Part of our process for each full home inspection is to include a RecallChek© of the house’s appliances—for FREE. Here’s why we include this service in our home-inspection process.

Why is RecallChek© important?

A Pearland home can be structurally safe but still have faulty appliances that have been recalled. In fact, over 200 million appliances have been recalled, and before purchasing a home, you should have that information to avoid future safety concerns.

How does the process work?

During your scheduled home inspection with Bryan & Bryan Inspections, the house inspector records the make and model number of every major appliance in your home. We then run these numbers through a specialized program that checks for recalls. If one of your appliances shows a recall, our home inspection team can help you figure out whether a free replacement is available. Most manufacturers are obligated to provide a complimentary replacement or repair for recalled items, and we want to help you take advantage of that service offer. If you get different appliances or are considering buying a used appliance, you can also send us the make and model numbers. From there, we will run these numbers through our system to see whether any recalls are present.
